Good choices make healthy kids!

In an age where children’s obesity, pathology and mental health / behavioural issues have increased steadily over the last 50 years, most families could reap substantial benefits from being coached on how to implement traditional Chinese medicine 养生 yǎng shēng practices into their lifestyles and routines. This concept is about maintaining and cultivating life, health, and vitality through balanced living. It includes diet, breathing exercises, seasonal adaptation, sleep, mental regulation, and movement practices.

 

Emma Scalet Zhou and Michele Horn Tomic joined forces in a 5 minute challenge to make a healthy breakfast for kids. It was not only fun, but informative. In the video they covered different food groups to support children’s energy and growth, seasonal food, digestive issues and how to persuade small children to eat.
